Romeo, Juliet and so much more
We landed on a visit to Verona based on its locality to Bergamo - giving us the benefit of flying from our local airport. After a night in Bergamo in our favourite bar we boarded the train - after 2hrs and a £9 one way fare we arrived.
An easy 10 minute bus ride dropped us outside the bustling arena full of excitement for the weekend.
There are so many places to visit in Verona that we didn't know where to begin but a quick trip to the tourist info and 2 Verona Passes later we were off.
Top tip:
We found the Verona Card well worth the money when we worked out which attractions we wanted to visit - it made life so simple! Visit the website to find out more about the options and cost: https://www.visitverona.it/en/explore/culture-at-an-affordable-price
We all associate Verona with Shakespeares Romeo and Juliett but
